Being alone versus feeling lonely.

What’s the difference for you? Is there any?
Honestly, I’m the biggest introvert you’ll ever meet. So I’d rather be alone most of the time. Yes, there are people I enjoy the company of a lot and my, let’s say, „social battery” doesn’t drain as fast around them, but overall, I like my personal space and alone time.
But if I have a choice between going somewhere and staying behind, for example, if all my family goes to visit someone and I get asked what I want to do, I’ll say I’d like to be alone.
Now, loneliness is a different and interesting topic. I have felt it in severall moments of my life. Right now I’m okay on that front, I haven’t felt it intenselly in some years, but I do have my small moments of feeling it in short bursts.
