  • Calls, voice messages, or text messages?

    Hello, random creatures.
It feels like I haven’t been here again for centuries.
I kind of like appearing and disappearing from here. Well, not really, but I guess 2026 is kind of interesting to me, in both good and bad ways, but stories might come another time.
I’m here to know if any of you, my imaginary audience 😛 have any preferences when it comes to communication.
What do you prefer? Calls, voice messages or text messages?
    Personally, it depends.
For example, I went to school with a girl when we were kids, and we recently reconnected. We got to talking, and at a point, I asked her what her favorite memory is from her life overall, and she responded with a 22 minute voice message. I have no problem with long voice messages, but if the message is longer than 10 minutes, I think you can call the recipient. Again, I have no problem with long messages, they fit nicely in the background and motivate me to be productive because if I just sat and listened, I would get bored.
I don’t have any problem with talking on the phone, but my social anxiety-type feelings have a problem with it, LOL. I mean, if I haven’t talked to you that much via text or in person, then if you call me, I’m going to be a little scared to answer, or take the initiative to call. But for people I know better, I don’t have a problem.
But I personally feel that I can express myself better through text, because I have more time to think about what words to use, or what to answer, and how to actually phrase it. I have nothing against the other forms of talking that I mentioned though.
